Gcalendar Terms of Service

Effective date: 26 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gcalendar Android app (package name com.localcal.calendar) ("Gcalendar", "the app"), developed by ADDexia (Singapore) ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The app

Gcalendar lets you view and manage your Google Calendar events and Google Tasks on your Android device. It keeps a local copy of your data on your device for speed and offline access, and syncs changes with your Google Account.

2. Your Google Account

• To use the app's main features, you need to connect a Google Account and give Gcalendar permission to access Google Calendar and Google Tasks.
• Your use of Google services stays subject to Google's own terms and policies. You are responsible for keeping your Google Account and device secure.
• You can withdraw Gcalendar's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. It forms part of these Terms.

4. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the terms of the store or source you got the app from. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows this despite this restriction.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app in a way that breaks the law, infringes others' rights, interferes with Google's services, or tries to get around the app's security or Google's usage limits.

6. Your content and changes to your data

Your calendar and task content stays yours. When you create, edit or delete events or tasks in the app, those changes are made in your Google Account. Sync depends on network connectivity and Google's services, so you are responsible for checking that important events and tasks are correct. We recommend keeping your own records for critical appointments.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on Google Calendar, Google Tasks and other Google services, which we don't control. We are not responsible for their availability, changes or behaviour. Gcalendar is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. Google Calendar and Google Tasks are trademarks of Google LLC.

8. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering the app, or any of its features, at any time. We may also update these Terms. The latest version will always be on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that data will always sync correctly.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADDexia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, missed appointments, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and removing its access to your Google Account. We may suspend or end your access to the app if you seriously breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in the country where you live.
