Android and Windows app
TheNote
Notes and voice notes in plain Markdown. Speak, and TheNote writes it down; type, tick off to-dos, add pictures, and find it all again on your phone and your computer.
What it does
- Records voice notes and turns them into text, on your device or with a speech service you choose.
- Keeps every note as a Markdown file you own, with every earlier version of it.
- Optionally syncs your notes between your devices through a hidden TheNote folder in your own Google Drive. There is no TheNote server.
Your data
Your notes stay on your devices and, if you turn on sync, in your own Google Drive. TheNote can see only its own hidden folder there, not your other Drive files. Your data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with unrelated third parties. Read the full Privacy Policy.
